The ThermaClear device is a slim machine that packs a zap just enough to get rid of stubborn pimples. There are two LED displays on the panel, indicating the on/off button and the impact-level or the pulse of the treatment being delivered. The assembly includes a plastic cover for the tip of the treatment device. Since you only have the power switch and the strength adjustment switch, you will realize early on that this device is very simple and easy to operate even on your own.

Having ThermaClear in your home is likened to having a professional do laser treatments on your acne. Only, instead of having someone hovering over your face and a spotlight directly over you, you can use this treatment with your own two hands while looking at a mirror under your bathroom lights.

This device is also battery operated, so you can actually travel with it if you need to continue treatments away from home. It is not recommended that you use rechargeable batteries or non-alkaline batteries for the ThermaClear. You only need to AA batteries to use this device anywhere you can get the privacy to clean and treat your face.

Before using ThermaClear, you will need to cleanse the areas where the acne has erupted. There is a bit of confusion in this part because some think that the beginning of a pimple is a whitehead or a blackhead. However, ThermaClear cannot be used for such cases. The pimples should already be showing before zapping it with the device.

One thing that is really tedious about the ThermaClear acne treatment device is that you have to treat each and every pimple separately. Additionally, you have to treat the pimple at least 3 times in one day. Plus, you have to find the newly forming pimples every time so that you catch and intervene at the early stages of acne formation. This is a bit discouraging – the treatment of acne will really take up a lot of your time.

You will also need to keep on disinfecting the tip of the treatment device, although that part is easy. You just have to wash it with alcohol or use cotton dipped in alcohol to cleanse every treatment period.

Still, the operation is pretty simple, although it does take a long time. If you have severe acne, you may end up treating your pimples the whole day. Also, there is a process to wait for when activating the treatment tip. You have to wait for a couple of seconds after switching it on then wait for the blue indicator lights. Afterwards, you just have to learn to put the tip of ThermaClear on the pimple without actually squishing the growth. While you are holding the tip to the pimple, you press the Pulse button for another couple of seconds.

Moreover, ThermaClear really does work on the worst pimples. And, the best part is that there is no scabbing and scarring involved in your skin’s healing process.
