Dermapure Rx is an acne treatment born of a joint venture between CyberMed Industries Inc. and NetPharma Solutions. The British Columbian and Canadian companies worked together to engineer and market the product, known as Dermapure Complete.

Dermapure is an acne fighting system which consists of four separate products. The first, called the Advanced Treatment Formula, is a supplement in capsule form which is designed to have added nutrients and vitamins to the body to help combat future acne. The second part of the package is a mild cleansing gel for daily facial cleansings. The third product is a purifying bar and the fourth is a manual that explains how to best use the first three products.

It is clear straight away that the Dermapure Rx acne products are different than others on the market. Made from all natural botanical ingredients, the treatment is more of a wellness program for the skin, then a specific acne fighter. Its focus is control and prevention of acne before it happens, rather than treatment of existing acne break outs.

Part one, the supplements, are meant to be taken several times each day. The ingredients are derived from traditional Chinese medicine. They consist of herbs that are thought to purify the body and promote general health and well being. The herbs are Chinese skullcap, rhubarb, moutan, dictamnus root bark, forsythia fruit, gardenia fruit and red peony root. None of these ingredients is exclusive to the company’s formula, nor are any of them specifically designed to fight acne. Instead, they are designed to improve general wellness of the body and specifically the skin in the hopes that this will prevent acne from occurring.

Since there is little or no research or studies done on the direct effects of these natural ingredients on acne, it is hard to pass judgment on how well Dermapure Rx works without trying it.
